Sundays are such strange days. They feel like you are stuck in this awful depressing and grey world.
Anyway, I've been working on a sewing project. Will post here when I actually start sewing.
don't mind me and my thoughts.

mood: disappointed | listening to: Mio Cristo Piange Diamanti - Rosalía
So yesterday I voted for my home country's presidential election and the amount of people who voted for the crazy right wing candidate was shocking to me.
I am grateful that we have a day to exercise our democracy but I do get sad that so many people are okay with voting for politicians who actively decide to take away the rights of so many.
But one good thing today was that I got to take care of my health. Getting bloodwork done is so annoying and a little bit painful but as someone with an autoimmune disease, I'm used to it by now.
I end my entry here with a picture of an art installation I really enjoy:
"You Are Trapped on the Earth So You Will Explode", Survival Series, Jenny Holzer, 1983-85.
mood: exhausted | listening to: my crazy thoughts | watching: the sopranos
I've been thinking a lot about action, acting on things, making things happen.
It is one of my biggest setbacks right now. I can't seem to get up and get things done. As the end of the year approaches, I think about how time is finite. I gotta do the things I want to do.
Burial monument in Staglieno Cemetery, Genoa (not my picture).
